2k usually has better graphics and presentation, but the show has better gameplay.

The show is hands down the best VG representation of any sports gamer ever. 2013 is so polished, the ball physics and hit variety so good, I am fapping to it as I write this with my lefty.

By opening day a roster set will be out called OSFM in the roster vault. It will have all of the minor league players and the details the creators put into it is just on ridiculous levels. :thumb:

yeah, I was just debating which one to get this morning. According to the internet, the show is better in nearly every conceivable way, enough to make some baseball fans switch to the PS3 if they don't already have one.

It's crazy how good those roster sets are. Sucks that they won't be out until opening day. Once you start a franchise with one roster you have to start all over with the newly released version. There are a couple decent rosters online now which have some of the top prospects for each team.

Man I am pumped too. I may just need to get my first baseball game since the season we had Juan Gonzales. So the show basically let's you download real rosters and stay up to date?

I always have played the 2k's but after playing the show a bit, I would give the nod to the show. I don't think you will be let down by either but the show is definitely better.

Yes the show has "live" rosters that get updated constantly with up to the minute moves, but even better is the roster set the operation sports community puts out that has every minor leaguers name, attributes, etc..

As a Royals fan there was a time when Moose & Hos & others were in the minors, you almost had to wait for the full minor rosters to have any enjoyment in franchise mode.

I hate the 2k games and have since first inception. Swing stick is awful, simulations are silly, and the player progressions make absolutely no sense at all.

Wish they made The Show for Xbox... would kill to get my holds on it.
