Just read something pretty awesome. The Rosters for this tourney clarifies you can only have 12 people on each team. So, if we cannot provide a full 12 from our team (remember, the Ukrainian cannot play ) We can have former Jayhawks suit up and play with the team.

If we have to take 1-2 former Jayhawks (Usa born) with us to Korea, who do we take?

Dont think an nba team is letting Ben play for us.

Ceej 06-17-2014 07:37 PM

I heard they have to be 17-24.

McLemore and T-Rob would be my vote.

I dunno, its in July, would be a great offseason workout for him. He's already taking classes here (which would also be a requirement to play, I forgot to add that) He already plays with the team anyways. He would murder that tourney.

I would love for him to play for us, i just don't think the Kings nor his agent is going to let him do it.

Wouldnt they have to be amateurs? Like Reed or Elijah Johnson? (guessing EJ isnt playing in Europe). Im assuming Sherron is too old to qualify (and get back into shape).

KU has offered 14 year old, 6'10" Udoka Azubuike.

Kid is huge.

I dunno, It didnt mention in the article that I read. I'll do some looking, but If wayne and cliff bolt after the season, I think we'll need somebody. Self mentioned they would hold a tryout.

I guess Self may have mentioned TRob in the press conference about it, so seems pros could be eligible.
