He has them off balance. He's pitching pretty well. He's locating his curve nicely due to it's movement.

But yes, the Cubs are also choking....typical.

The Dodgers have the highest payroll in baseball so........................:shake:

Exactly, but they lost about every starter they have from injuries. Go Dodgers.

Because of a solid performance on the bump tonight.

Lol. They signed Lester to a 150M contract and Heyward. Lester's contract is a bargain as far as pitchers of his caliber are concerned and the majority of the rest of the team is still in pre-arb or arb. Wtf are you even talking about with the Cubs buying success?

C3HIEF3S 10-18-2016 08:33 PM

Cubs fans are flipping shit on my social media feeds right now.

Are you a Cubs fan?

You seem salty tonight.

As my man C3H3I3E3F3S pointed out, the Cubs may be down, but until they get to Kenley they have a legit shot to do damage to the LA pen.

Agreed. It's clueless. They traded away and built up their farm system. Literally, the same thing the Royals did except that they were able to afford a couple of FA pitchers. The Dodgers have bought their roster.

Yeah, I'm with you here. The Cubs did it the right way (if you want an example of a team that did it wrong, check out the Angels). They built up their farm system and even cited the Royals as a guide when NO ONE else was giving credit to Moore's system. They have the fifth highest payroll in baseball, sure, but that doesn't take away from their methods at all.

kcpasco 10-18-2016 08:38 PM

Cubs starting rotation is bought.

Except the Dodgers are now winning while dealing with tons of injuries to their bought roster. What they are doing is pretty incredible.

Uhhh... Arrieta and Hendricks (two of their most dominant starters) are "bought?"
