There will be a TE after Kelce. And it's gonna be a transition. But if Andy's still around (man I hope he's still around) the next guy will be a badass as well. And people will piss and moan about how we went from TG to Kelce to {Next Pro Bowl TE}. Kelce's amazing - no question. But we won't struggle for production at that position for as long as Andy's here. Andy once got 300 yards out of Sean McGrath - in his other 3 years in the league, McGrath had 71 yards COMBINED. Reid's a TE whisperer. |

Once upon a time Derwin James was the project X built in a lab to stop The Big Yeti. He held his ground initially, but eventually, I'd say after the 3rd butt busting they just gave up on the narrative completely. At Kelces age we probably won't get to see this full progression for Hamilton, but no one can cover Kelce 1 v. 1 when hes on his game.

I mean, Greenlaw is a good player. But if he's such a good coverage LB, why have TEs had so much success against the 49ers? Why did Sam LePorta torch them for 97 yards last week? The Chiefs' Kelce-Rice combo compares pretty favorably to St. Brown and LaPorta. And obviously Mahomes is much better than Goff. That spells trouble. |
There is almost no chirping from SF.
Players or fans. They know we own them. |

I’m guessing it’s because I’ve looked at a lot of 49er stuff lately. The comments on the posts are almost all: “We have a chance if…” Or “Hey, don’t get too excited. We know how this ends. Chiefs have the refs.” Very little confidence from them. |
