I just wanna remind folks that Andy Reid made something called a Chad Lewis into a 3-time Pro Bowler.

There will be a TE after Kelce. And it's gonna be a transition. But if Andy's still around (man I hope he's still around) the next guy will be a badass as well. And people will piss and moan about how we went from TG to Kelce to {Next Pro Bowl TE}.

Kelce's amazing - no question. But we won't struggle for production at that position for as long as Andy's here. Andy once got 300 yards out of Sean McGrath - in his other 3 years in the league, McGrath had 71 yards COMBINED.

Once upon a time Derwin James was the project X built in a lab to stop The Big Yeti. He held his ground initially, but eventually, I'd say after the 3rd butt busting they just gave up on the narrative completely. At Kelces age we probably won't get to see this full progression for Hamilton, but no one can cover Kelce 1 v. 1 when hes on his game.

Driving down the strip last night you see the Chiefs logo everywhere — every casino has Mahomes (and Purdy) or the Chiefs (and Niners) logos perpetually plastered on video screens — driving on the 15 you see it from the stadium to Resorts World.

The Chiefs' Kelce-Rice combo compares pretty favorably to St. Brown and LaPorta. And obviously Mahomes is much better than Goff.

That spells trouble.

Or

Very little confidence from them.
