According to Dutton's Twitter account, he "overmatched Reds star Joey Votto on a strikeout."

5 strikeouts in 2 innings.

Peyton Manning.

AndChiefs 03-09-2012 03:09 PM

And a normal outing for Mazarro.

If I remember correctly, wasn't Duffy the guy who came to spring training with a chip on his shoulder, saying he knew people were talking about how the pitching would hold the Royals back, wanting to prove everyone wrong?

Good to see. They were raving about Duffy on the MLB Network show. Thought he was a guy who was going to break out this year.

That was last year's record. It seems odd they would project the exact same one.

If they lose more than 90, DM and Yost ought to have their nads removed publicly.

Just noticed this odd bit of news: http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...ague-contract/

Looks like Jarrad Page is either giving up on football, or is trying to be a 2-sport athlete, after signing a minor league contract with the Dodgers.

Reading a bit more, it looks like he was drafted (and didn't sign) 3 times in the MLB draft before going to the Chiefs, which brings up the old baseball/football dilemma. If you aren't sure that you'll make it, you are better off playing football, but if you are going to make it in either league, you should probably play baseball.

Wasn't former WVU/Dolphins backup QB Pat White in the organization a year or so ago? Is he still there?
