Assisted pull up machine. It counterbalances your body weight, so the less weight you use on the machine, the more of your body weight you're pulling up.

It works amazingly well.

I just need to sweat it out. I think I'm gonna put my protein shake in the freezer, go run for 30 minutes, and then have "ice cream" as a treat when I get back.

Hell, go to the track and do some sprints. Pushing hard releases more endorphins than a long slow run.

Time yourself and then look to beat it the next go around. Run angry. It works.

For me, the gym is a place I can go and leave feeling better, regardless of how I feel when I go in. Well, to say today has been a shitty day for me emotionally would be an understatement. Personal training session went well, but I left still feeling...shitty. I haven't had a day like this in a really long time.

I worked arms and back today. Would it bee too much if I went back to the gym and ran it out on the treadmill? I don't want to overdo it, but I just can't shale this damn feeling.

Eh, tomorrow is another day. I'll just go put some ice cream sandwich flavored protein powder in the freezer and eat away my blues...lol.

Try doin a few jumpin jacks. Its a good tension reliever. Better than sex.

Tried running after nine days of low impact cardio. I could still feel my shin splints so I stopped pretty quick. It didn't hurt but I could feel them so I stopped before it got worse. It sucks. I did up my bench by 20 lbs for four reps.

That doesn't sound like something we have at my gym. I have been using the rings leaning back with my heels on the floor and pulling myself up. I realize that's more of a row motion than a lift though.

Oh, and I feel better. Little time on the treadmill helped. I like the treadmill. It's a little more controlled. I like knowing how fast I'm going and calculating how much further that means I will go in the next __ minutes. I'm just weird like that.

Here's one and fix it if it's you. The need to stand between the benches, or directly in front of the dumbbell racks because you think you need to see the ****ing mirror to do your curls. Seriously, you don't need the mirror to do a ****ing curl so get the **** out of the way for others needing the benches or the weights.

**** that noise. I use the mirrors for errrthing. I don't think you get how pretty I think I am.

If you still want to run you can tape your shins. I have to do it now. :( Getting old sucks.

Pro tip: Most good pullups are more of a row than a straight up and down lift.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks.

In the mean time, I know that having less of me to lift will help, so let the fat burning continue!

If I wore tape I'd encourage everyone to buy stocks in razors and shaving cream first. I have the hairest legs.
