All I'm saying is, if you want the escalator of a conditional draft pick to depend on a player's performance, tie it to his performance. As it is currently reported, it's tied to team success, which can happen even if Palmer himself doesn't nothing. What if he gets injured, and Terrel Pryor leads them to the championship? According to you and Raider fan, it was still worth it.

this isn't like a trade for the next 3 years. The Raiders bet the farm for the next 20 years or so that THIS is the guy. And he's not. Enjoy.
