I am starting to think that Hosmer is going to be much, much better than moosetacos and that is no indication against moose, hosmer just seems that good.

If you wanted my uneducated vote I'd probably vote Hosmer/Myers/Moose, which means they will probably succeed in reverse order. I think Kila is about to bust out though, too.

Don't forget about Pujols. :p

Hosmer should always be a fan favorite because the '08 draft was a watershed moment for the franchise. Hosmer in the 1st and Melville in the 4th ushered in big money drafts for the club. Loved it. ****ing loved that ****ing draft philosophy.

Gordon is slow as ****...Mitch Maier just gapped a double and Gordon didn't score from first.

The alex Gordon saga is almost complete in Kansas City. The guy just cannot hit some pitches and that makes it tough to be a major league player.

What did you guys get for Greinke? From what I heard it wasnt that great.

Some people on a Padres site said we got more for Adrian Gonzalez but that your guys are more Major League ready but not really top prospects.

Alcides Escobar just a year ago entered the season as a top 10 guy i believe...Jeffress could be a hell of a pen arm, Lorenzo Cain could be a solid CF'er we'll see (he did well in his AB's with Milwaukee) and Jake Odorizzi could be another Zack or close.

The Padres got:

Casey Kelly, a legit pitching prospect who got rocked in his first stint at AA last year.

Antony Rizzo, a C prospect who has hit for decent power in the minors but isn't a high AVG/OBP guy.

Reymond Fuentes, a speedy 20-year-old who has yet to make it to even A+ ball.

Kelly is highly thought of and a decent piece of the puzzle, but the other pieces aren't that impressive.

I have a hard time seeing that as a better deal than what KC got for Greinke.
