I don't think we will have a baseball game for the One in 2014, but I expect one in 2015. I would buy a PS4 but I am not messing with their awful servers. I'll just wait for a solid baseball game for Xbox One. Here is an interview with EA CEO about bringing MVP back:

That's ridiculous....and I LOVED MVP.

The Show is the best sports title year in and year out...EA would have a long way to go to catch up to it.

Doesn't matter because I don't see MVP returning any time soon...

In a fantasy sports gamer's world it would go something like this:

-EA gives up license for NFL, but still makes Madden games.

-2k revives the NFL 2k series

-EA drops the awful NBA Live franchise

-EA focuses more on baseball and MVP Baseball makes a return.

If you really like baseball, you should simply get a PS3 or PS4 and play The Show. If fanboi proclivities prevent you from doing so, that's a whole different deal.

I don't think you read my previous posts. I have The Show for PS3. I was expecting an upgrade server wise on ps4 and was actually planning on getting one when The Show drops, but they don't have dedicated servers like MS does. Since nothing has apparently changed, I am guessing the awful connection I had on ps3 will be there on the ps4. If the connection is good, I'll pick up a ps4.

It was the more fun game to play, but an awful baseball sim experience that's for sure.

2k won't be coming back in the baseball world.

I guess I just don't get all these connection problems. My son plays on the PS3 and ps4 online all the time and never has issues with it other than the maintenance slots.

At times yes. Presentation wise the show is great. There were too many goofy **** ups in 2k

I shouldn't say the servers are completely awful, they're ok. It's just when it comes to a baseball game you need an almost perfect connection to play.

Commentary and pitching in 2k were better, but everything else went to the show. Graphics, physics, batting etc..

I wish the show would take the pitching from 2k and get better commentary then it would be TOP notch
