There's a lot of dumbassery in this thread. Luck is going to be an elite NFL QB, its already obvious and anyone who thinks otherwise shouldn't be taken seriously ever again. Geno will be a great NFL QB too, dude has great pocket presence, size, footwork, and accuracy. If given the choice between the two I would rather have Luck but I wont at all be disappointed with Geno. If we dont take him I will personally burn KC to the ground.

The guy is an elite prospect and has everything that you want in a NFL level QB. Like I said, I think that he's a better NFL prospect than Griffin at the same stage and a hair under Luck. And there are some things about him that I like better than Luck to be honest. Geno is the shit and it seems that the better and more knowledgeable posters here understand that. And once he gets into the Red and Gold and starts destroying worlds, I'm sure that they'll happily come along for the ride. |

Thug pic! A picture says a thousand words! He's got character concerns and he's black! Not worth a top 10 pick!!!! /Kiper |
I don't know what the **** this "chess" game is that Geno Smith keeps talking about, but it sounds thug as shit. Tavon Austin is the "queen"? So he's got his teammates involved in his circle of thuggery?
STAY AWAY FROM HIM! DRAFT LB! |

GANG SIGNS!!! CHARACTER CONCERNS!!! HE'S A THUG WHO WON'T SUCCEED!!!!:) |
Geno Smith gonna be shankin' secondaries real soon
|
What's his real twitter handle?? there is like 3 or 4 accounts on twitter with same name.
|
On a side note, Geno is gangster as ****, which is actually pretty cool. Rob Parker would agree with his epic level of blackness.
Good thing Nick Wright is gone. He would be sucking this guys dick every day on 610 if he was still here. Geno would have to get a restraining order. |

The coverages that I can currently think of that he hasn't seen a lot of and won't even at the Senior Bowl is C3 fire-zone concepts (rushing 5 and dropping 6, exceptionally creative at the pro level) especially out of base fronts, c0 blitzes, C6, and most importantly, the speed of the pro game. For example to the last point, in college against C2, you typically have quite a large gap on 9s(fly/go routes) on the edge due to the corner dropping and the safety either being slow or slow to react (the larger hashes make a difference as well). WHile that window is typically there in college, it is much smaller (safety quicker to close and corner usually being able to get a good jam and force an inside release as well as being able to stick with to a deeper depth due to diffent philosophies taught at the pro game vs. college). To me, the speed of the game is a much more difficult aspect Geno or any competent drafted QB will have to learn than different coverages. |

Good news: next year our home schedule is pretty soft.
Division Rivals Jags Titans Skins Eagles Browns With our schedule next year, we can win 8 games or more if we get Geno and a good HC. It's far to early, but man it seems like we could do well next year. |

Let's all be honest. Geno has some swag. And he's a confident guy. You can hear it in the way he talks.
Geno's swag will be something that makes Bowe want to come back. I feel like those two would have an instant connection. |

He probably is very accurate flicking boogers too, btw. |
I don't give a shit what kind of "thug life" he represents...he could be fronting like Will Smith who used to hide his books in pizza boxes back in West Philadelphia...from what I heard he's a scholar and a student of the game.

And apparently a dedicated member of his church. He looks to have a great relationship with his mom as well. He's confident, yet humble, takes the blame when things go bad and spreads the rep around when things are going good. Consummate teammate. That said, I got no problem with Geno popping a little attitude. Throw 'em up Geno! |

WR was wide open but the arm strength on that throw is incredible.

Perfectly thrown ball, 30 yards in the air, off a jump pass because of pressure. Nobody does that. |

It's amazing the arm on him without needing to really step into the throw.

It's a ****ing awesome throw, that guys like Cassel can't make in their dreams. |

Anyone know any good links for Geno highlights? My wife has to work overnight tonight so I need something to spank it to.

If we draft Geno, I am buying season tickets.
Has there EVER been a quarterback or other player than this site has been so lop sided on? |
Don't buy into the hype.

OK Geno buffs, I obviously didn't watch the guy 3 years ago, so can anybody tell me what kind of offense Geno played in before the spread? Was it a pro style offense or a mix of pro style snaps with the spread?
