How the hell does it matter if he was mentally ill or not? THE DUDE MURDERED THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILD AS WELL AS HIMSELF IN A PUBLIC WAY IN ORDER TO TRAUMATIZE ALL INVOLVED. There can be NO white knighting of this guy.

I can understand how people that haven't dealt with a mentally ill person wouldn't get it.

I don't understand all the chest beating about not shedding tears for JB. Way to come down against murder, big principled stand there. Also, it miisses a bigger, more sophisticated look at this terrible story, one that may involve mental illness, professional head trauma.

I'm not saying I wouldn't have any emotion, but it isn't something that would haunt me and cause me distress for the rest of my life.
