How far a guy can broad jump does not reflect in any way a player's explosiveness?

Guess all those scouts & GMs must be doing it wrong then. ;)

If they base their picks off of what they see in a couple of days of these drills instead of actual games they are wrong.

Nobody was talking about that. The subject was if the broad jump tests a players explosiveness.

You don't find it odd that they'd have a test for that if it didn't at all?
