I think facing backups can have some distinct disadvantages. You have less film to watch and fewer tendencies to prepare for. Sometimes a backup can give a team a spark too. Esp when that team is already coming at you with their best shot.

I agree. We've seen that this year with Keenum, Campbell, Tuel and Fitzpatrick.

Just an FYI, in the three games since Von has been back, the Broncos are giving up an average of three points MORE than when he was suspended.

In 3 games he has 2 sacks, 13 tackles, one forced fumble.

That's not horrible but it's sure not All Pro numbers vs some very average teams...

I think Peyton is realizing that he made the wrong decision when he chose to play in Denver. He's not in Lucas Oil stadium anymore with his comfort controlled climate. His old body can't take the elements and hits anymore so he is already making excuses for the Chiefs whooping his ass this week. The officials can only do so much for him, they can't keep him from being abused and pummeled. Time to put him out to the glue factory.
