All of the talk of Dio makes this long haired metalhead happy. Great vocalist, and his work with Sabbath is very underrated. As far as I'm concerned, though, "Holy Diver" represents Dio's best.

Holy Diver is still one of my favorites. I have seen Dio twice in concert, Last in Line, and Dream Evil tours. For a little dude, he has a big voice.

Indeed.
Holy Diver is an increadible albume. Probably Vinny Appiec's best work. "Rainbow In the Dark" shows just exactly as a drumer how less is more.
He does use a lot of 4 time rolls, but the way he did them was truly magic.
Compleatly predictable, but fu@king increadible.

Oh yeah, the lil dude with the vioce, the lead player and bass wern't bad either :p

Been a while since this one got bumped.
But while cleaning up the kitchen tonight I managed to catch the Sat metal Zone on the same station 97.5K-Rock
It’s a 2 hour "House of Hair" hosted by Dee Snyder.
Runs from 9pm-11pm NL time.
The last half hour is on now.

I was in a music store today and found a cd of a band called Fastway they were kind of obscure but a good 80's band none the less.

That album is one of my all-time favorites, it was on a continuous loop in my room when it came out for years & i still listen to it regularly.

Its EASILY in my top 10 pantheon with stuff like Kiss Alive, Appetite for Destruction, Nevermind etc.
