Run up to Buffalo and grab the Lamar Hunt Trophy for me, will you?

You can't compare college football to the NFL because there is no playoff like in the NFL. The importance of the Michigan-Ohio State game last week is essentially equivalent to an NFL playoff game - the winning team knows they're going to the championship, the losing team knows they aren't.
What Michigan winning would do was just create more bitching, and with bitches like you here bitching constantly about USC, and bitches all over the country bitching about the BCS, the last thing college football needs is more bitching.
If Michigan wins we get every OSU fan and probably 50% of college football fans as a whole, as well as every TV analyst complaining that they didn't get a fair shake because they defeated Michigan once and shouldn't have had to do it again.
