I understand the risks but I've been in that industry my entire working life up until about 3 months ago. Weekends for me are Monday and Tuesday not Friday and Saturday =)

If you're been in the industry, then that sure changes a lot. plus your ability to get financing is infinitely higher (both from private individuals and lenders) because of it. if it's really your passion, start now! Why not?

congrats man, i was so happy a year ago when my mrs finished school and got a great contract ! lifes a lot easier with 2 full incomes, makes the future look better.
