As for Greeks and inventing democracy; I just thought I would add that Plato saw it as one of the weakest forms of government. Which is true, it is a rather pathetic limp dick of a governement, but oh well.

I am getting confused on why any of this shit matters? Iranians or Americans, a person is a ****ing person. But I forget, we must WIN! Winning is all that matters. GO AMERICA, were up 304 to 2!!!! YAYZ!! Same goes for the other 'team' though, who gives a shit if 'they' made the first animation? It wasnt even actual Iranians, it was their ancestors, of which a great majority are our ancestors. It isnt like the same god damn tribes have always lived there. By that logic we should keep score on all things the indians did before we got here, since we now live on the same land they once did, obviously what the accomplished in the past should be considered an accomplishment for us in the present!

While I understand that everyone in Iran isn't as ****ing untarded as their fearless leader I also think it's important to note that we don't have a card-carrying KKK member in the white house either.

This nation has supported terrorists that killed our enemies. We've tried to assassinate leaders and political figures. Our government is not innocent.

On the other hand, even during the cold war, I can't remember a president stating that we need to whipe someone off the map. That we should do so.

The opinions of the people in a nation are completely irrelevant if they aren't willing to
force their government to mirror them...

Being a successful and "one of the most educated" communities in the U.S. is not an achievement for you? You have to research this yourself. How about reading on Omid Kordestan, Senior Vice President of Google's Global Sales and Business Development. Or how about this guy?: http://www.achievement.org/autodoc/page/omi0bio-1
Or how about this gal?: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/m...larehzadeh.xml
Or how about this dude?: http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.cfm?release=2005-033
Or how about this woman?: http://www.apbspeakers.com/themes/de...oundation.aspx

These are only a few cases that come to mind immediately. You need to research it yourself if you are truly interested in an answer to your question.

ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL
That was on your planet. On ours it was Saddam's chemical weapons provided by us, the U.S., with full knowledge of his intentions that were used against Iranian troops and border villages. You really have to quit listening to the voices in your head.

Watch yourself, racist. Recent evidence points to Neanderthals being either every bit or very close to our own intelligence...

Thank you. Now back to the original thread which was merely an interesting tidbit of information posted as such. The "Iranian" part was merely a tongue in cheek attempt at silliness since everyone here knows I'm an Iranian American. Some folks here need to get a life.

Did you move from there to here or are you as Iranian as I am German?

Meaning you're an American with ancestors from somewhere else.

You keep your cartoons. My Krauts will continue to kick your a$$3$ in cup play...:)

Born there. Moved here after HS. Really I look at it as a lucky situation and a gift from life. I can pick the best values of both cultures; toss the worst and enjoy jokes, literature, music, food, traditions etc. equally from two different countries. Makes for double the enjoyment of life. That's a gift I have always underlined for my son who was born here to Iranian born parents. Whereas I consider myself 50-50 Iranian-American culturally he is perhaps 30-70. His (future) kids will be 100% American, I guess. It's a fascinating process to observe, really. But then I'm easily fascinated.

Geez, lighten up. Just because you have ties to terrorists organizations doesn't mean your a bad person. Look at Obama, people seem to like him.
