I never said ku was a fraud last year or any year; we're discussing Mizzou right now in case you haven't noticed.

This is the last time I'll pose the simple question:

My mistake then. I just assumed that you were in the frazod group.

Dude, I was quoting somebody else who brought up the football season for some reason.

Yeah, if the dumb**** makes his fieldgoals, we win by 1.

what are you talking about?? Im talking about Daniel losing 2 NFL receivers, 3 OL, Alexander not being healthy and Coffman being hurt at the end of the year. STFU.

And I'm still waiting for you to answer how being better than KU (though that's still very debatable) makes MU a good football program.

They are still mediocre, EITHER WAY.

I would not call KU or MU mediocre. I would call both programs above average to good. Just MO, of course.

Which one of us has reading comprehension issues?

Must have missed my other post.

Oh and I want to point out that I am not using the injuries as an excuse. Just pointing out the hypocrisy. Injuries are a part of the game. You just have to accept them and try to win with who you have available.

Well, that's great. You can't handle the debate because not everyone agrees with your overly homeristic arguments so you cry about hating KU fans. Congratulations, you're officially a MUron.

#4 overall recruit in the country.

Yeah, Mizzou is the fraud in football.

ROFLROFLROFL

Thats why they are better.

Wheres your back to back 10 win seasons? You barely made a bowl game this year.

You got 40 wins over the past 4 seasons?

Who won the BIGGEST game between the 2 schools in their history??

You ever have a Heisman finalist?

Has Mangino ever finished ahead of Gary Pinkel in the Big 12 standings?

Bearcat 02-16-2009 02:47 PM

Yeah, I don't think you'll ever convince Mizzou fans that their FB program hasn't been head/shoulders/torso/knees/ankles above Kansas the past couple of years, so it's probably not worth it.

But, I tried...

I completely agree that shit happens, which is why you can't just say "Mizzou beat Nebraska and Kansas didn't" (or whatever)... you have to look at the big picture.

Big picture: Neither Mizzou or Kansas can play with the top teams in the country. Kansas played with OU for a little over a half, and got their asses handed to them against Texas and Tech. Mizzou played with OSU and got their asses handed to them by OU and Texas. Last year Kansas beat OSU and Mizzou beat Tech, but neither were as good as they are this year.

Mizzou and Kansas can both beat up North teams and non-conference creampuffs. The only notable games are Mizzou/Illinois last year and Kansas/USF this year... Mizzou won by 6, Kansas lost by 3.

Mizzou beat Kansas by one possession last year, Kansas beat Mizzou by one possession this year.

I've thought all along that Mizzou was "the best of the rest" and that Kansas was a couple of steps behind them, but if you look at the last two seasons, there really is nothing that separates the two teams. Yeah, if you're looking at the past 5 years or the past 20 years of bowl appearances, Mizzou probably wins (even though head-to-head is even), but in the last two years they're a lot closer to each other than some want to believe.

I had Mizzou fans telling me they would play for the NC and that there was hope of at least playing with OU, so yes, beatdowns by UT and OU and barely beating Northwestern shows Mizzou is a fraud just like Kansas losing to Mizzou last year proved Kansas was a fraud.

Kansas won their last game of the season last year on a much bigger stage, yet some still thought they were frauds. Well, hate to break it to you all who think Mizzou is vastly superior, but if you believe Kansas was a fraud last year you have to believe Mizzou is a fraud this year.

I was just pointing out why Chase Daniel had a "down year." Losing 2 NFL receivers, 3 OL, and not having 2 of your best receivers healthy, can hurt you. But he's called a "choker" for throwing for 4400 yards, 39 TDs, and having a 72% completion rating.

How is that homeristic?? How?

And yes, I hate KU fans like you.

Lzen 02-16-2009 02:48 PM

ROFL
I just love these MU fans that act as if their program is some kind of long standing power house and KU is just chopped liver. Homers, homers, and more homers.
