Soooo, anyway. I just set the ribs out to settle in some foil. When I picked them up, they split in half. I think all is right with the world. Thank you Reaper for the entertainment.

Since I live out here in Siesta Country, where awesome Mexican food is always a stones throw away, I've taken kind of a shine to Negra Modelo.
It's kind of sweet for a dark beer and it goes great with food or on it's own. |

Although, I haven't perfected the art of ribs; this is my first shot. I seasoned with a dry rub and coated with brown sugar and covered in foil and put in the oven at 220 for asbout 2 hours; now I'm basting nice and low with some hickory in the smoker box for the gas grill. .....hopefully they don't suck! I've always wanted to learn how to make good ribs and someday move to a smoker.....baby steps. |
