Trust me...I used to drive fighters around for the old IFL shows...Roy Nelson is far and away the best. You could argue a guy like Wes Sims has more overall skill...but I would disagree.

Dont know if that fight shoulda been called, Roy Nelson was on top and Kimbo couldn't move and probably got hit in the head about 20-30 times repeatedly until tim ran out in 1st round.

And Dana White had to introduce the fight, something he hadn't done for the previous 2 IIRC. Knew people are watching, wanted face time.

That was amusing how they just made fun of Roy Nelson.

The UFC just signed Seth Petruzelli so I'm assuming Dana wants him to rematch Kimbo on the Season Finale.

The fight went about like I expected...can't believe the ref didn't stop it at the end of Round 1, that was an easy stoppage. Not surprised though, they were going to give Kimbo EVERY chance possible to win that fight.

Doesn't matter, Kimbo will continue on in the UFC...Dana isn't stupid, he knows the guy draws in fans and will hope to cultivate him. He will be a UFC mainstay IMO.

It probably shouldn't have... but it wouldn't have changed anything. Nelson would have just tapped Kimbo on the head for the rest of the round, and won a decision.
