What was the ratio?

I thought of this thread yesterday when my Dr. told me mine was high. It was 270.
Last night was my first night for taking simvastatin for it. I also had low Vitamin D. Which is understandable, during the winter up here you very seldom see the sun. My blood pressure has always been great though at least. My wife was mesmerized by a P90X infomercial & now wants to order it. I'd like to give it a try as well, just wondering how many of the exercises I can't physically do & whether that'd make it worth it. |

I have been on simvastatin for 7 weeks now.
It got my total from 372 down to 200. Make sure they check you liver values. Mine increased since using simvastatin. |

I am taking simvastatin. If i socially drink (maybe a few beers or mixed drinks maybe at most) once or twice a month, is that bad with this medicine? I am a very moderate drinker at worst, i know i plan to have some at the royals games this year.

Sure-OZ.. I have been on simvastatin for three years now. I have a few beers a week or
sometimes more and it has never been a problem. A beer will lower Cholesterol almost like wine from what I have read from google results. |

Has anyone heard from the 740 guy? Shit, at 740 I'm surprised they didn't cut his arm and get Cheez-Whiz instead of blood... :shake:
