I'm traveling 800 miles to come see my team.

Why waste your time? You know how it ends. Sell your tickets now.

Christ! Half of you guys are ready to stick a gun in your mouths. This ain't your Daddy's Ravens. They have a lot of talent, but coordinators who don't know shit. The D is one of the oldest in the league, but the DC insists on a 3 man rush for the entire second half of games...they're ready to drop over in the last 5 mins.

Do you think its a coincidence Drew Brees and Philip Rivers improved by leaps and bounds when Cam Cameron was no longer their coordinator?

We have a mediocre offensive line, and Flacco holds the ball way too long...don't sweat it. This game is going to be 'opportunity rich".

No, but at of this point in the season, to me, it seems that the Raven's are much more physical team all-around than KC is at of this point. The only thing that is hurting Baltimore, IMHO, is that they're slowly changing the philosophy from running it hard to air'ing it out. Still, Baltimore has good quality players.

At least somebody sees it. :D

No, I think we will have to overcome some obstacles to win the game... but I don't think the public in general realizes how poorly Flacco has played in the playoffs... and the fact that these Ravens don't blitz quite as much as when Ryan was running the defense. Of course we'll make Flacco look like a superstar and your defense will probably blitz 75% of the time. The biggest issue will be handling the Ravens physicality at the line of scrimmage. Our other big problem is handling teams with a great vertical passing game.

RAVENS:
PASSING YDS
215.6 17th Overall
RUSHING YDS
115.5 13th Overall
OPP PASSING YDS
219.6 15th Overall
OPP RUSHING YDS
94.2 4th Overall
Not too bad for "OLD DEFENSE." It's not unwinable for the Chiefs but it will be uphill all the way. In the words of Clint Eastwood, " A Mans, Gottta know his limitations."

Instead of just throwing out insults, maybe you could give us some reasons why the Chiefs will win.

Any given Sunday....

This is interesting...

I honestly thought Cam Cameron was a good OC.

Quote:

The problem with the ravens Offense:

For the past 2 years at least, Cam has been calling plays for a Run-First offense. In the offseason when the team acquired Housh, Stallworth and Boldin, Cam never created plays to take advantage of all the talent. The plays he did create for the WR's are plain vanilla and are easily defensed.

In other words Cam was comfortable calling the Run-First Offense and he never seriously changed his strategy.

If the Ravens face New England, the secondary will not be able to stop Brady, which means that the Ravens will have to score more than 13 points.

Although the ravens have the players, I do not belive Cam has the intelligence to beat the Pats.

Keep in mind Flacco was injured in two of the four play off games he has been in. Flacco hass been looking much better through the season after hid meltdown in game 4 (Cinci). And yes, Mattison does not blitz as much as Ryan, and they are not nearly as exotic or well disguised. If Mattison does not wear them out the starting Dline is tough to move. But, Mattison may decide to activate as additional secondary body and drop seven in the box. This will assuredly wear out the big men if it happens that way.

No doubt this will be a tough game for us. Not only will we be fighting on the field, we will have to fight off the inevitable stupid play calling and generally stupid decisions by Cam and MAttison.

Redstar, how are your special teams? Kicking off and punting can be a bitch in our stadium in cold weather.

Hey, the D is not dead yet, just being miscoached. Mattison calls a lot dropping seven and it just wears out the big boys.

Hammock Parties 01-02-2011 09:58 PM

More Cam hate...

Quote:

I'm not going to come on here and say that Flacco doesn't struggle against the cover 2, but if anybody else in the entire stadium today had called plays, we would have looked more competent on offense.

Never have I been such a hater, but Cam needs to go. He has absolutely no idea how to utilize the players we have, or make adjustments when defenses are playing well.

How does your team do against draws and delayed draws? Haley loves that shit.

Special teams is definitely a strength. But I don't think David Reed our KR is going to playing, and thats a big loss for us as he was pretty high in avg yrds returned. Otherwise they're pretty good.

Koch is a helluva weapon, Cundiff is going to the Pro Bowl (for whatever that's worth).
