That's complete nonsense. There are a lot of different body types that are successful. NYG won the SB with a front line of lean, super quick, power players that have thin legs. If there is anything an athlete can tell you body type doesn't mean much. Strength and strength endurance often come in smaller muscles and muscle groups.

another example of why everyone should be happy as **** about the draft

got directshun's guy in the 3rd
got Powe in the 6th instead of the 2/3rd
didn't people want Stanzi in the 2nd too? we spent a 5th :)

if a couple of the WTF guys work out this could be one of the best drafts in Chiefs history.

Pioli is a beast

As KC drafted Houston, I believe it was Gruden that chimed in and said something like, "yea when I put the film on, this kid is the most disappointing player for me in the draft. He takes way too many plays off, and rarely plays hard for the entire game.".

I definitely think there will be some motivational moments needed for Houston.

The "takes plays off" knock is my favorite. For some reason, the best front 7 players had that knock coming out of the draft.

Just wanted to bump this for the Chiefs' 2011 Rookie of the Year.

The fact we landed him in the 3rd is nuts.

We had a decent draft class. It just might take 2-3 maybe more years for it to come to light. This class wasn't a 2010 situation where all our rookies played well beyond their years.

This draft class as a whole isn't as good as 2010. More of the players need developed.

not necessarily their fault either with the lockout, and the turmoil with Haley/Pioli as factors.

Hmm well i was wrong to an extent. But only when RAC went ahead and changed the defense to bring more pressure.

As well as the fact that, for the most part, the 2010 guys were picked at the top of their rounds while the 2011 guys were picked at the bottom of theirs.

Props Romeo in changing the system to fit the player. I didn't think they would which is why I wanted Ayers over Houston. But both players had pretty close to identical seasons, so we didn't go wrong either way.
