Has anyone called for a cancellation to the season yet? Has anyone checked on John Madden, first Favre and now Manning? There's no way he still finds life worth living...

What is even more amazing about Manning is while he doesn't have to play in the snow he still manages to get his opposing team to have to endure the bad conditions. He is amazing.

Did you see the part where I claimed Manning had never played in one memorable snow game in his 12 year career in same the post you quoted? Where you planning on proving that point wrong? Ooops, no, you were just going to ignore that part, because you know it's true.

LMAO Jags are garbage. Playoff hopes dashed. We finally get a chance to win the division and they decide to be reeruned. As I said Luck Sweepstakes. Pathetic.

I'd LOL if they resigned Garrard.

There's a reason for that, isn't there?

It was a brilliant plan by the NFL, actually.... put the young Manning & the Colts in the AFC South, and schedule division games late in the season. "It's all about division rivalries and fighting for a spot in the playoffs" ....the fans will eat it up. BUT!!!! The real reason is so Peyton Manning can spend his Decembers in Houston and Jacksonville.

Yeah, I'm sure the other AFC SOUTH teams play a bunch of games in NYC and Cleveland and Buffalo in Dec/Jan. :doh!:

And I guess if you want actual games, you can go all the way back to January of 2010, or wait a few months when they go to Baltimore & NE in back to back weeks in December.

Brees plays in a dome and I have never seen any bitter fans bust his balls for that.

Even if you want to discount his stats you can still go the W's and L's and he is still one of the best ever there as well.

I don't know about after last season but prior I believe Manning's career post season QB rating was a tick higher than Brady's despite some of you guys wanting to claim he is a playoff choker.

Bugeater 09-07-2011 05:43 PM

I'm not sure how anyone can brand someone with a Super Bowl ring as a playoff choker.

Peyton's most memorable snow game was a Week 17 win against the bottom feeding BILLS after homefield advantage already was clinched.

fucking Epic. I wonder what Unitas would think if the supposed "greatest QB of all time" were to read that? he'd be rolling over in his grave, along with every other peron that actually played the game the way it was meant to be played. OUTDOORS.

I'm seriously contemplating changing your post to my sig.

I'd love if Cassel could someday attain that level of playoff choker.

For starters, I never said "most memorable"... it was more like most recent.

Second, my original LOL was from: "because the league will make sure any cold stadium away games the Colts have on they're schedule get played in Sept like they've been doing his whole 12 year career," which seemed to be your main point.

So, for it to not be a conspiracy, the league has to schedule a game in a cold weather city in December or January, make sure it snows, and make sure it's memorable? So, it has to be cold enough to snow, but not too late in the season so the game is meaningless, and it has to be against a team that's guaranteed to make the playoffs that year, or else it's just one big conspiracy to make Peyton Manning happy.

Again, with the LMAO

The Patriots went 11-5 the season after theye went 16-0 in the regular season, a 5 game dropoff.

If the Colts go 5-11 this year after going 10-6 last year, that's a 5 game drop.

So, tell me, what is the point you think you're trying to make?

Did you watch that post season?

This whole thing reminds me of Priest Holmes' neck issues. Everything's so vague and "unpredictable."
