What is even more amazing about Manning is while he doesn't have to play in the snow he still manages to get his opposing team to have to endure the bad conditions. He is amazing.

It was a brilliant plan by the NFL, actually.... put the young Manning & the Colts in the AFC South, and schedule division games late in the season. "It's all about division rivalries and fighting for a spot in the playoffs" ....the fans will eat it up. BUT!!!! The real reason is so Peyton Manning can spend his Decembers in Houston and Jacksonville.

Yeah, I'm sure the other AFC SOUTH teams play a bunch of games in NYC and Cleveland and Buffalo in Dec/Jan. :doh!:

And I guess if you want actual games, you can go all the way back to January of 2010, or wait a few months when they go to Baltimore & NE in back to back weeks in December.

So, for it to not be a conspiracy, the league has to schedule a game in a cold weather city in December or January, make sure it snows, and make sure it's memorable? So, it has to be cold enough to snow, but not too late in the season so the game is meaningless, and it has to be against a team that's guaranteed to make the playoffs that year, or else it's just one big conspiracy to make Peyton Manning happy.

The Patriots went 11-5 the season after theye went 16-0 in the regular season, a 5 game dropoff.

If the Colts go 5-11 this year after going 10-6 last year, that's a 5 game drop.
