Even more foreshadowing! :)

w00t. Mr. Panerio, would you be so kind as to start us off again tomorrow?

Will do. Great game today! Damn Perez is a damn good player.

Funny thing is Boston is only 3 games ahead of the Royals now. Pretty sad considering how much bigger their payroll was.

Be nice to start a winning streak. The love/hate for this team changes about every other day it seems. At least for me anyway

If Moose hits .230 with 22 hr and an abysmal obp, is he still having that stellar yr every1 is raving about? Seems like Mike Jacobs territory

Um, Moose is only 23, dumbass.

That was like watching the Special Olympics. I wish the Sox had waited one more day to make the big trade, then I would've started paying attention to them again one day after this shitfest.

Not sure why you're on an anti-Moose rant right now, but he's in the midst of a season that's probably going to end up being a 3.4-4.0 WAR. He's the third most valuable 3B in the American League, and he's 23.

He also has a .270 BABIP this year, so his average (and OBP) are a little deflated as a result. Considering the gains he has made as a defender, his offense doesn't have to carry him as much as it would have when it looked like he'd be below average.

Even if he's a .270/.320/.450 hitter with 25 HR moving forward, that's an incredibly valuable player if he's playing the same level of defense.

It's nice to see Hosmer playing better as of late. Batting .288 with an OBP of .356 in August.

And like four HR? Edit: 3 HR
