FYP

To your point about Crennel. it's clear he's useless floundering dumbass.

That was, or should not have been, ever a question.

I am just surprised at how quickly he has this team sucking.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel spoke to reporters following Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens and of course fielded several questions about Matt Cassel , Brady Quinn and the Chiefs starting quarterback moving forward.

Crennel did not break any news by naming one player or the other the starter following the game, but he did discuss both quarterbacks.

I picked out a few highlights of what he had to say below:

If Cassel's cleared to play next week, will he be the starter?

"Cassel, if he's cleared to play, we'll have to evaluate it and we will see. I can't answer that without knowing his situation."

Were you considering making a change before that play (where Cassel was hurt)?

"You guys are always what-ifs. No, I was not. I did not make a change. I went with my team and my team played pretty good football today, just not good enough to win."

If Quinn is your QB next week, is there something he gives you that Cassel doesn't right now?

"We'll find out if he's the quarterback. We'll put him in there and play him. I was pleased with what he did today and in the time he got in because he hasn't had many practice reps. I thought he did a nice job when he went in."

Was Matt taken to a hospital?

"I don't know. I come off the field, come right in here and they just told me he had a head injury."

So is the OP complete BS?

I edited the title at least. I'm assuming that this was a pure misunderstanding for now and haven't done more than that for the moment, though I'd consider this a strong warning to be pretty damn sure of your facts before posting something like this.

either crennel is a ****ing idiot , or the front office thinks they can make more money by losing than winning

Its a business, facts say they can profit more with shit than try to spend and win. Risk is might not win/versus income minimums in the NFL.

One thing I noticed was Cassel's passes seemed even wobblier than normal. On a few of the curl routes we ran I feel like it took ****ing foreeever to get there. I mean, he doesn't usually put much zip on the ball anyway, but shit...

He looked unstable all day. Shaken. Not stirred. Tentative. And at times, he appeared downright frightened and insecure and overtly nervous as though, earlier in the day, someone had super-glued his testicles to a chair.

A good QB can make an average coach look like a good coach. A shitty QB can make an average coach look like a loser. Have you seen Cassel play this year?

You would think at some point for compassion toward another human being they would pull him. The guy has become the most hated athlete in any city

O.city 10-07-2012 09:11 PM

Thats really something to think about there IL.

They have let it get to this point by being blind and not holding him accountable.

He played like he always has.

Scared.

Quinn's one drive was more composed than any one of Matts.
