Reminds me of a post awhile back about a member of the Chiefs org arranging for the NYGs to get a hotel in KC during a bad storm. Pioli later called the Giant's GM and claimed credit for that. Assuming that was true, and I see no reason to believe that it is not, that is all I need to know about Pioli. That and the fact that Peyton Manning wouldn't even acknowledge the Chiefs' contract offer when he was discussing possible new teams. We're on the road back now. Just need to relax and watch things unfold. |

4 Wins is ok. 6 isn't perfect but it'll do if we sell out. But TWO WINS!?! Now heads need to roll... |
Just got the last part of this put Kevin Harlan was on with Petro and from what I gathered there is a story making the rounds that Carl\Denny Thum were doing some unethical\corrupt things inside the organization and one of the main reasons Clark hired Pioli was to get it all cleaned up.
Petro didn't know if this story was put out by Pioli to save his job or true but it is out there. |

What is unethical/corrupt in that situation?

I'm still trying to decide if I'll fire him or not.. I'm sorta on the fence.. I like how the office is like so clean 'n shit all the time. I let go of the cleaning staff to increase profits, so we needed Scott's "Spic and Span" employee program to pick up where they left off. I like clean women and offices! And he has less hair than me, that's goo too, it helps me when we're on road trips - I get like no competition for the local chicks in the jet...

However, looking at the history of the franchise, any time the team had 4 or less wins (and it wasn't the first year under a new HC) there was a change made - whether it was GM, HC, or both. |

That was kind of my point... |
