Pro Football Focus really isn't "uninformed". Just sayin.

Jake Long....

22nd in pass blocking efficiency in 2012.

25th in pass blocking efficiency in 2011.

HE IS A GREAT PLAYER.

GREAT.

A guy with head coaching experience to coach the line?

Get it done, nothing not to like about that.

You're ****ing serious with this shit. It's not hard to tell when a guy gets beat by a player he's supposed to be blocking.

Incredible. ROFL

it's kind of funny in this thread alone

you call him a GREAT player and defend him, but mention "HMMM I WONDER IF THE CHIEFS COULD GET HIM FOR A 3RD ROUNDER ON THE CHEAP" like this is a Madden video game.

Newsflash, if he was a great player, he's not being traded for a 3rd rounder.

What did we give up for roaf?

And I'm not comparing the two, roaf was definitely great and also had health issues

I know you've posted before, but how does Albert compare, and how do they rate as run blockers?

Just a guess, but Albert has to be top 10 in pass protection and around 15 in run blocking, while Long is probaly top 12 in run blocking.

If I'm giving up a 3rd round pick, it's for a CB or a DE that can rusht he passer. Not a LT.

2nd, and his knee issues were considered to be career threatening.

Don't remember if it was conditional, just remember that it was a 2nd round pick that we eventually gave up.

This for a HoF, and probably top 3 LT ever.

Jake Long was by far a better run blocker than Albert before his injury. But the last two seasons, even though Albert's run blocking grade hasn't been great, it was still better than Long's.

Albert the last two seasons was 7th and 8th in PBE.

Long was nothing even close to good last year. He didn't even have a positive grade.
