My Challenger was an emotional decision, and I wanted to get one before Chrysler went tits up. Thus I didn't wait on the 6 speed or b5 blue availability, that I really wanted. But this one is going to be it and one of my kids will inherit it some day.

Is yours the Orange with Black stripes?

Post a pic of it!

Your kid is gonna be so excited when he gets it.

I am the same way on the new Chargers, as the Italians really rescued the Daimler original design IMO. They brought back some of the second generation Charger styling cues, that really work. Daimler took the concept
Charger design that I really liked and used it on a Mercedes, just like the rest of their pirating of the company.

One of my girls will be happy, but I don't think either one of them are too happy about me trading the Barracuda for a Ram last year. :D

It is TorRed, and I added the 70 Challenger stripes from Ryder graphix, put the SRT struts and springs on it, thus lowering it. Also put the SRT 20 inch Alcoa wheels in place of the stock 18s that fill the wheel wells better. Not sure if I have a picture on this little laptop, but will check.

You're going to want something that stays intact while passing through a police cruiser at 130.

That is a great ride. Those are wheels I like on them too.

If I was to get one, I'd be partial to the orange and black.

That was their major "high impact color" early release, the Hemi Orange. I have always been partial to red, but really wanted a B5 blue. Like the 6 speed, that wasn't available until spring of 09, and I honestly didn't think they would be in business then.

Thanks, glad you like it. Like a lot of things, I take it for granted and am used to having it. I remember when you and Frazod got your Mustangs on here. Tim has driven the Challenger and I drove his Mustang.

GM is bringing the Holden V8 sedan back to the US as the SS. Wait and buy one of those.

That's awesome. I'm not even a huge MOPAR fan., but I could get on board with that

When the new Camaro came out, I REALLY wanted an orange one with black stripes.

The black with orange stripes would be pretty sweet too (don't think that's stock).

Wasn't to be, though.

My Pony is still in great shape with 110K miles on it. I still love it. But, I have to start thinking of its end of days and the Challenger is on the top of my list. And now I'm in Florida and make a little more coin I might go full out top of the line Challenger but those Shelby Cobra's look good too. No need to worry about ice and snow anymore.
