It's not!

Why the **** should this fanbase be happy with 9 wins and a first round trouncing?...

Because 9 wins and a playoff visit would be a monumental step in the right direction for your franchise? One that would likely lead to a deep playoff run the following year after more consistency and added weaponry?

My My... the young world of the entitled.. insisting upon a SB championship after being 2-14 the year before or all is a failure? Get real.

At least Bowe will be thrown better-placed balls.

Cassel's passes required circus catches a lot of the time.

Hit Bowe in stride and watch the fun ensue. Oh yeah, Baldwin too.

I dunno. Bowe had a tendency to drop the few bread basket throws.

The bolded part is the problem. The Chiefs have been using the same QB blueprint for 30 years now, in signing castoffs from other teams. We've been to the point already where we win 7-9 games and a playoff visit. But because of the way the team was built, it's never lead to deep playoff runs the following years. Quite the opposite actually.

The same blueprint, perhaps... but there are new sheriffs in town... new players. Enter: Dorsey and Reid and Alex Smith.

That same blueprint is being led by different people.. so ....

Another case of "Battered Fan Syndrome".

That's also the same bullshit we tried to tell ourselves the last time. And the time before that. And the time before that.....

Just like it was being led by different people in 2009.

Might have a slightly better ending this time around if you care about winning 8 regular season games. But it will ultimately meet the same fate of not accomplishing anything of relevance.
