He can clamor all he wants, but nobody is gonna bankroll another 100 million+ pic with him as a lead anytime soon.

So quickly you forget.

Studios can't be trusted with Deadpool. How do you take the merc with a mouth, cast it perfectly and then decide that Deadpool shouldn't have a mouth at all?

Couldn't be more true. Movie studios don't give a single steaming crap about comic book characters, except as tools with which to make their movie.

Luke Cage is in production; he's one of the four in the upcoming Netflix series.

The new short film they are releasing that is going to show the real Mandarin has Kingsley's character from IM3 locked in the prison that Cage is being held in.

They better do Cage right. So much potential for a Bad Ass character.

True. But it seems as though Marvel studios has realized that trying to stay true to the story goes a long way with the most dedicated members of their fan base that drives every market outside of ticket sales, which is great for the die hards.

I am usually not this kind of fan boy, but the Marvel universe is so awesomely more vast and amazing than any that has ever been created.

Here are pictures from the set showing some of the new characters. I'll put them in spoiler tags, but I don't think there's anything here you won't see in a trailer.

Spoiler!

That's because Marvel has a stock in keeping the characters true to the source material. Fox and Sony and whoever else aren't keeping an eye on the comic book storyline; they'll make whatever changes they want, no matter how simplistic or bizarre.

The Scarlett witch and Quicksilver look good for the XMen movie.

Between this and Godzilla those two will be in both the summer's biggest fanboy flicks...

HAHAHA those look hilarious. I had a copy of the Wolverine movie before the CGI was put in and it was a trip. Oh and sadly that movie didn't improve much after they added the CGI.
