Yep. Still going with Phil.

TBH, I would have a hard time keeping a great attitude, too, when the teams management lets every talented player they have had just walk out the door.

Oh, come on. He was a tight ass long before the team began its slide.

LMAO

A good QB MUST have some Douche Factor. This can not be denied.

No, I was voting as if I were a Chiefs fan.

Haha

What are you talking about?

Phillip Rivers has been benched like 4 times for trash players, lost whole seasons to injury and has only been in 2 playoff games in his career.

If he were to get that Arrowhead on his helmet, though, I'd say we have a "10 win floor"

I don't know about letting guys walk out the door. Tomlinson got old... Merriman got old fast. Donnie Edwards couldn't play forever. They kept guys like Jackson, Shaun Phillips and Jammer. AJ Smith wasn't the personnel wizard people believed he was when Marty got fired.

He also had an obvious "killer instinct" and "go for the throat" mentality.

Alex Smith throws short passes all day and STILL throws more interceptions.

But he doesnt have a red helmet, so....

On what do you base this? I definitely would not argue that his career thus far is better than Alex Smith. But Rivers really doesn't have a great reputation of being a prime clutch or playoff performer.

It's funny how people around here ride Matt Ryan's jock even though his offense was unable to score a single point against the Giants in their 2011 playoff meeting.

You know, the same Giants team that was taken to overtime by the Alex Smith led 49ers that ultimately lost 20-17.

Sweet Daddy Hate 07-29-2013 08:43 PM

If Alex actually "led" anything, you might have a point.

My comments have absolutely nothing to do with the color of his helmet.

If Rivers is so great, why does he have 47 turnovers in the past two years?

What's his playoff record, BTW?

Jackson
Sproles
Turner

Then, not adequately having a replacement for McNeil in place when they knew when they drafted him that his back wasn't gonna hold up forever.

I mean, who did SD retain on offense during Rivers time there?

Anyone?
