I don't know how to do the "fixed your post" thing so I will say this:

Avondale=ghetto Scottsdale=$30,000 millionaires making it ghetto North Scottsdale= upper middle class

Well we just planned a trip for July, going to see if we mind the heat, looking at places to live, and I have a couple of places that want to interview me.

Just when you think what he's saying is that the borders of Scottsdale are no better than the borders of the ghettos (like Tempe) he ****s up the atlas by putting Avondale south of Scottsdale? Which I guess it is. In the same way that Los Angeles is.

I was just going of off bistateno's earlier post. No geography lesson intended.

It means Scottsdale as it is advertised outside of the state is only the North part of Scottsdale. For more on this and an entertaining read, Google scottsdale sucks.com

So north Scottsdale is the good part. How do you feel about Anthem?

He means there is a lot of ****ing debt in Scottsdale. A lot of pretending. We call them plastic.

And drunks everywhere in Old Town Scottsdale on any given weekend (I'm looking at you Vailpass)

Anthem, to me, is a small community as designed. It's north of Phoenix proper a bit. I think it would close in on you after a while, unless you like that sort of thing.

It's nice and modern with everything you need, right along the highway and commercial businesses are spawning on the other side. Touristy/Highway stuff. E.g. Outlet mall, fast food, etc.

Never been there, so just stereotyping, but I always thought of Scottsdale as a golf course community, probably filled with tons of really old people and snowbirds. No?

No that's Palm Springs. Scottsdale had lots of young people living pay check to pay check. And old degenerates.
