I'm ****ing sick of Wong.

the Cardinals beast is never slayed until the 27th out ... Cubs need all the runs they can get

This series has some of THE WORST and most inconsistent strike zones I've ever seen. It is all over the place.

That pitch called a strike to Cruz was the exact spot the other was called a ball,

The only strikes thrown to Cruz were swing and misses. And the first pitch to Cruz which was a strike was called a ball, so...

I swear to God the head of the umpires union should strike to have the "K-Zone" eliminated from television ...

It simply isn't accurate ... human error will never call the top of that zone and it's always going to be wider than that zone due to catcher's being taught to frame the ball ... you stand behind a catcher with 95 MPH fastballs and try to determine if a catcher isn't framing the ball and get back to me

but now with that K-Zone .... everyone is all up in arms about their pitcher being squeezed ... or their hitter getting called out on a ball ...

It's hilarious. Seriously ... that isn't good for baseball. Just get rid of the ****ing thing.

**** those guys. They kept replay from happening for years. They refused to allow any questionable play to be shown in the stadium. Even after everyone has the Internet and smartphone in their pocket they still never allowed it. **** em

Some are good. The TBS zone has always been terrible because it's too narrow.

A pitch will be two inches off the plate and it looks like it's behind the hitter on that stupid thing.

jd1020 10-13-2015 04:22 PM

Maddon playing with fire with all the pitching changes. Grimm and Wood were both good. How long til he finds the one throwing beach balls?

Hootie 10-13-2015 04:24 PM

fans are funny

cubs fan thinks Maddon playing with fire for too many bullpen swaps
cards fans think Matheny is a moron for not changing pitchers every other AB

I don't need the K ZONE to see how bad the calls have been, these are wide inconsistencies. :shake:

Jewish Rabbi 10-13-2015 04:28 PM

Hopefully he'll hit Wong.

Hootie 10-13-2015 04:29 PM

yeah but that can be said about every game, every year ... strike zones are different every game ... it's human nature

the K zone just stresses how a lot of umpires strike zones vary

teams adjust to it

fans don't

The Cubs bullpen is not good. Wood could have got them 3 innings but a bloop jam shot base hit and he's out of there.
