Alex should be glad that he can leave town without his head being ripped off and shoved up his ass. Any more than that is purely gravy.

HAHA. No way. If we don't get a 2nd out of him in this market, I'm seriously worried about our front office.

That third and 9 should indeed be interesting...

Alex Smith had 2 years left on his contract and WANTED to come to KC.

Only way we're getting better than two seconds is if he agrees to an extension.

It seems like a no brainer to move on, but it’s the Chiefs. All I can say is I won’t waste anymore time, money and energy on an Alex Smith Chiefs team. When Mahomes takes over I’ll be there.

All he has done is aged.

He road along on the curtails of some of the best offensive talent in the game today while still showing he cant get shit done when it counts by completely disappearing in the 2nd half of todays game.

No team is going to be trading for Alex with the idea of him being a franchise QB for them. He is a stop gap at his age. You think a team is giving up more than what the Chiefs did to get him? Delusional.

You guys are so obsessed with arguing non-points you ignore what I said.

YES, KC can get more for Alex right now than what they paid for him.

Do you think nobody would trade for him?

What the **** are you even arguing?

This isn't about me defending Alex, so calm the **** down and get your own dick out of your mouth.

Alex had the most total yards per game of any QB in the league.
The best TD-INT ratio
The highest rating in 20+ yard passes
The most 40+ yard touchdowns

again, where did that get them? :thumb:

Tiger already getting mega triggered. He’ll have a full blown aneurism when Alex is traded in a couple of months.

There are some very needy teams that needs a QB though. Cleveland really needs one. Depends on how Bortles does tomorrow, but if he bombs tomorrow, Jax might be in the market. Arizona will need a QB.

Nope.

Pretty sure I said no one is giving up MORE than what the Chiefs did 5 ****ing years ago.

In a pre-salary cap world, you keep Alex as the backup, and he'd be good in that role.

But in the modern world, if you can clear the salary and get draft picks, you trade him. The odds are low that he'll play as a backup, and he's going to be the backup. It's time for a change.

Don’t let the blind hate get to you.

We are getting at the very least a 2nd... but my post above yours implys why I think we get a lot more than just that for a qb hungry needy team

Why trade when you can just wait for the chiefs to release him ?

GM's know there is no ****ing way the chiefs go in to next season with Smith.
