Actually, no NVM. **** him. |

He may wind up as their 4th LB or whatever, but I don’t think they’re opposed to him starting at SAM. At all. |
Martell Spaight has some experience and was a futures signing. Has some good college tape but mostly special teams in the pros. They will cycle through the backup types as well. Neiman is a more traditional taller type Sam but he obviously has to get stronger.

But again, you’re looking at 30% of snaps with that group. And they’ll be attacking gaps in this scheme, not reading two gaps. |
To all of you who claimed the Chiefs defense literally could not be any worse in 2019, I present to you....Damien Wilson.

Maybe he can get his college teammate Eric Murray to pull his head out of his ass. Murray, as much shit as he gets (from me included) was put in a tough spot moving to S from college CB. Like Ragland with Spags, Daly, and House, it wouldn’t hurt to give Spags and Merritt see what they have in Murray until OTAs and Minicamp are over. Then you can cut them and save like 2m or take them to camp if they are taking to the new scheme and coaching. Doesn’t hurt to do that with guys like that with smaller salaries

Have folks not learned anything from what the Pats have been doing for years? It's not just about star names, it's about the fit and moulding players into a solid, working unit. The only big names I can think of from last years Pats defense was Gilmore and Flowers, all the others I'm sure most NFL fans would probably walk past In the street without noticing them. This guy is an experienced player In a system Spags likes who hasn't been given the chance to start consistently. Now he might have that chance, so we'll see how he does. But no point writing him off before he even gets on the practice field.
