The visit. Not the commentary.

But is does bring up a question we can all ask of ourselves.

If you do something cool...and the president wants to meet you.....Would you do it if you do not like the pres?

You go. Especially in this climate. I'm sure there are members of the team who feel the same way about Biden that many of us do. But especially with a high profile job where you're constantly in front of the media, you keep that shit to yourself, smile for the camera and focus on where you are and why.

A few years ago, one morning I passed Rahm Emmanuel on a sidewalk outside Chicago city hall when he was mayor. Obviously I wasn't a fan, but I also wasn't raised by ****ing wolves, and as I passed I said "good morning, Mr. Mayor," and he said "good morning" back, and that was that. Easy enough for our guys to do the same thing despite how they feel about whoever the president is.

Let's. Go. Brandon

Travis Kelce would smoke a joint with Willie Nelson on top of the roof of the White House if Bill Clinton was president.

Well I hope they get to meet the Pres before he's put down for his afternoon nap.

I can only speak for myself. I cant stand Biden, or anything about his administration, but if I got an invite to go to the White House to meet him, Id respect the office and go. I think no matter what one's political beliefs are, one should respect the office of the Presidency in a situation like this. But that's just my opinion.

BIG_DADDY 05-14-2023 09:27 PM

I wonder what the over/under is for him pooping his pants during the visit.

If I had enough athletic talent to play a sport at the highest level of the sport. Then win a championship. Invited to the White House I'd go, even if it was the former president.

It has nothing to do with who is president at the time you achieved the pinnacle of your sport. No one thinks you support the current president because your team went to the White house. It's not political. Its a cultural thing.

Just because there are idiots out there doesn’t mean you have to be one.
