Amazing that the likely regular season game of the year will take place at 8:30 am Central time.

I believe it's the same evening/morning as DST.

So that will **** with me mentally.

I think what everyone is missing is just that Burrow just sucks.

I just don't know what it is that keeps you from understanding that it's not the oline, but the QB, that is the cause of the sack numbers. Less pressure = oline blocking better. More pressure = oline blocking worse.

I'll post them again since you didn't seem to think it was important to touch on it before.

Chiefs QBs have been hurried 36 times. Bengals 6 times.
Chiefs QBs have been hit 29 times. Bengals 22 times.
Chiefs QBs have been pressured 71 times. Bengals 42.
Chiefs pressure percentage is 27.8. Bengals is 16.6.

Mahomes is holding the ball 24% longer than Burrow but he's being pressured 59.7% more. He's been sacked less because he's able to escape the pressure better. That doesn't mean his oline is better.

42.8% of Burrows sacks have come on 3rd down and all have been against the blitz.

TTT and ADOT can certainly play a part in sack numbers but so can several other things. It's too easy to look at 14 sacks and a low TTT and say "ohhhh, the line suuuuuuukxxxx" but it's lazy and incorrect. I could waste a bunch of more time and point out how Burrow has said he doesn't care about sacks and point out that he was sacked 5 times in the first 3 games and 9 times in the last 3 but what's the point at this point? You're dug in and you're not going to change your mind, no matter how wrong you are.

Mental Gymnastics... The eye test says it all... Your Oline sucks.

The bolded part is correct.

The rest, not so much.

Chiefs beat the Chargers on Sunday and see where they stand when the dust settles after all the games are played next week. Miami @ Philly will be of great interest on Sunday Night.

Burrow is fantastic, but he absolutely does not look right this year.

8-3? :hmmm:

We still have Denver 1, Vegas 2 times, LA 2 times.

There's probably atleast 4 wins there, they may drop 1 to the Chargers.

That along puts you at 9-2. You've got the Pats, Bills, Phins in the east left. 2-1 there gets you to 11-3.

Green Bay is dog ass and will be shutting it down by then so taht gets you to 12 wins.

I figure Philly, Miami, Bills, Cinci and Chargers x2.

You win 4 of those 6 you pretty much are locked into the 1 seed.

If we host this years AFCCG I'm worried the NE fan base is going to start hating us.

They already hate us. They hate Mahomes because he is a threat to Brady. They hate the Chiefs because we are a threat to their *dynasty.

Wait. We're not?

They don't call it the Annual Arrowhead Invitational for nothing.

Doesn't worry me at all. I am eagerly looking forward to all of the hate spewing out of Massachusetts.

It's been a while since we've rattled their chain at Patsplanet.

Maybe if I'm bored. Nah, **** it, let them suffer.

They know Mahomes is better, but there's NO WAY they'll ever admit it.
