Press the "Back" button if you're on the 360 when pointing at an enemy. It will put a red triangle over him that your whole team will see. Not sure what the PS3 and PC controls are.

that's what I do if I'm not sure.....just point at a guy and press Back/Select. If they light up, I shoot them.

I have the xbox too with BadMaJama as my gamertag. I'll get it for the xbox soon as I have a couple friends who got it and want to game.

I just have a lot of love for the PS3 after having the xbox for 4 years and owning 5 replacements of it. I only owned one PS3 and never had to replace it. So instead of buying more xbox games I'm buying PS3 games because eventually the xbox will kick and I'll probably not buy one again and have all these xbox games I'm not using. Those 2 rounds we had on Kharg were a blast. The game locked up on me after the 2nd round though. I will be on again later tonight.

Just went 30-5 for my best game ever, 9000 XP. Still barely won.

How do you get the EOD bot to kill people? So far mine can only fix friendly vehicles.

You can kill people with the repair tool so maybe it's the same way?

Some server I was just on had all the weapons unlocked, that was pretty cool. I kept with my SCAR though because I want to level it up so it's better when I play on other servers that don't have all the weapons available.

Can't get in how? If it is kicking you from servers, try updating Punkbuster manually. If you can't get it to load from Origin, try updating to IE9 (worked for me with Chrome) even if it isn't the browser you're using.

I login to Origin and doesn't give me any problems. I click to launch the game and it takes me to their site but it is the login screen. I enter my credentials again and it just refreshes back to the original login screen.

Last night it was basically the same thing only they had a message to click "here" to update punkbuster if you were having problems. I did so and it would just take me back to the login screen again with the same punkbuster message. Tonight I just get the login screen. No punkbuster message. I am getting really pissed at this point.


At this point I am saying they can take origin and stick it up their asses. It is bullshit that I can't play the game unless I connect to their shit when their shit doesnt work. **** EA!

I am on live chat with them now. It was close to 20 min for help. I am so ready to yell at someone.

I tried to play on X-box live for two hours last night and could never get on. Man I was pissed. I've owned this game for four days now and probably have been able to play a total of 4 hours.

The network was down for about 2-4 hours last night on all systems.

More people need to spot. When I'm in a jet all I do is make strafing runs on mcoms and flags because no one is spotting vehicles and infantry.

Yeah, you have to have a party if you want team work and talking. You can always tell which squads are doing it, too.

True dat. Plus I always get shot in the back and it pisses me off to high heaven when I know there are my own guys around the area camping or some sh*t. It infuriates me that there is no teamwork.

I didn't do very well on night 1. It was hard to figure out the objectives when I'm new to bf series, had trouble seeing some of the enemies...and the F'ing snipers are everywhere.

I kind of liked jumping on the .50cal when coneal was on a tank.

It's going to take me some time to figure out the different load outs, assault, engineer, support....what the hell do they do different functions in a platoon? just different load outs?

Assault (AR class) has the Medkit which you can throw out and heal yourself and your team. They also have defibrillators which can revive fallen teammates (and save tickets in Conquest or on Rush offense).

Support (MG class) has an ammo box which you can throw out and replenish your and your teammate's ammo. You can also get C4 charges which you can stick on MCOMMs and blow them up. It's also the most effective way to take out heavy vehicles. You can also have mortars, which is self-explanatory.

Engineer (SMG class) has a repair tool which fixes damaged team vehicles and damages enemy ones. They also have all the mobile anti vehicle rocket launchers and mines.

Recon (Sniper class) has artillery strikes and mobile spawn points (which you can deploy and your teammates can spawn on them anywhere on the map).

Everything each class does that benefits your team will get you a ton of points.

I think right now my favorite game is squad team deathmatch. I think it would be awesome with an actual squad from here.

It's definitely different than cod, it's taking some getting used to and my kd isn't very good out of the gate.

yea so far nobody else has wanted to join the platoon. I'm jumpin on now. I made a killing in tips last night so I went out and bought it for the 360 as well to clan up with the 360 if nobody is on PS3.
