Cassel's d-baggery = subtle and deceptive to the majority of fans...which drove me nuts.... to the point where I don't know if I've ever despised anyone more than him. Bray's d-baggery = unapologetic and personally put out there by himself...which I will be able to tolerate much easier if he ever becomes our starter. I don't really know why I am sitting here comparing the d-bag tendencies and how they show them of Bray and Cassel, considering Cassel was our starter for 4 seasons and Bray is our UDFA who hasn't even officially made 3rd string yet... but it's FWIW I guess, which probably isn't worth much. :) |
i cant wait for the first scandal where Bray sticks his finger up some pretty girls pooper in the bathroom of a KC nightclub or sends his dong pics to one of those hot young ESPN female analysts and it puts Bray on the media map as the next great douchebag QB.
I await that hump he has to go over to become the next Big Ben, Brett Favre, Dan Marino like QB |
His potential douchebagness combined with his natural talent is what gives us the edge at possibly having a REAL franchise QB. No franchise QB is a nice, dumb mother****er like Matt Cassel or Axl Reid, for ****s sake. They are GIANT egos with skills and a chip on their shoulders. THIS WE NEED.
|
32 Teams don't pass on a real franchise QB seven times. With all due respect, you are crazy man. He's a longshot at best.
|
Those teams passed on him due to the potential for Ryan Leaf behavior and the associated distractions that come with it.
But he literally has the best arm in this draft class. If he can be coddled along to not meltdown and make better decisions, he has great potential. |

Nick Jacobs@Jacobs7145s
Really impressed with Bray today & the competition he went against. Good gauge. |

Viable QB prospects? C'mon man, you got to be kidding me. This might be the worst QB class ever when it's all said and done. You really think the coaches listen to the talking heads or do they have regional scouts? How many people really passed on guys like Smith, Barkley, and Bray? It wasn't just the GMs. Hundreds of people were involved. The Chiefs came out smelling like roses. |

I think we all wanted to hear some positivity pertaining to Stanzi last year so badly that some of us (well me for sure) were convinced that the media was sabotaging Stanzi in their negative reports purposely to keep Matty and Polio happy. Haha, lying to ourselves... anything to keep that glimmer of hope alive, I guess. :) It's nice seeing positive comments from these guys pertaining to a young QB on our roster. |
yea i bet it was real hard for Bray to throw strikes to some scrub like Jamar Newsome with some bum like Jalil Brown covering

Akeem Jordan gets first chance to start along side Derrick Johnson on Chiefs’ defense May 14 By RANDY COVITZ The Kansas City Star It appears as if free agent Akeem Jordan will get first crack at the vacant inside linebacker position in the Chiefs defense. Jordan played alongside Pro Bowler Derrick Johnson with the first-unit defense Tuesday when the Chiefs conducted their first full-squad practice of the offseason. Jordan, a seven-year veteran, is making the transition to a 3-4 defense from the 4-3 in Philadelphia, where he appeared in 82 games, including 34 starts, at all three spots during 2007-12. “The thing you get with Akeem is he’s a smart football player,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “He hasn’t played in the 34, but he gives you the trust that he can do that. He doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. And he’s a phenomenal special-teams player, so you get both those things. You’re going to get a guy who doesn’t make mistakes on the field as a linebacker, and you get something special on special teams.” Another veteran free agent, Zac Diles, and fourth-round draft pick Nico Johnson of Alabama, played inside linebacker with the second unit and will compete for the spot formerly occupied by the late Jovan Belcher. |
So Bray was in practicing against the ones?

He picked off Bray [Sad face]. See Jacobs tweet about Bray having a good practice despite the pick. Bray was practicing against the 1st unit if Jordan picked him off. |

How many yets does Alexis have? 7 seasons? Bray has 0? You bench him off 1 interception? **** you!!!!!!!!!! |

I think if Bray played with the 1's people would mention it. It be a pretty noteworthy event if anyone other than Smith were taking snaps with the 1's. |
@Jacobs71: @mr_tomahawk Can't answer that. All I can say was that it was a good gauge for Bray today.
|
I asked if he was playing against the ones
Meh |

I trust him. Bray was playing with the one's baby!!!!!!!!! |

Bray with the ones? Alex Smith gets benched in OTAs too. Goodnight man.

EDIT: But that is probably how you would go about getting time with the ones though... performing well against the defensive ones. |

the only really bad one was the Stanford Routt suck n fuk fest because there were a lot of people around here that thought he was good, and a lot of people ate shit for that because he was god damn terrible and anyone with a functioning brain should have known that

I think it was Babb that tweeted about Stanzi on the first day of TC. He said something along the lines of, "hope I'm not digging my twitter grave by saying this, but Stanzi was the most impressive QB at OTA's." |
TJ Carpenter@TJCarpenterWHB7m
Tyler Bray got almost all of the 3rd team snaps again, even exchanged 2nd team snaps with Chase Daniel on a couple drives. #Chiefs TJ Carpenter@TJCarpenterWHB4m Should be noted, in working with the 2nd team, one of Bray's passes was tipped and then intercepted and returned for a TD by Dontari Poe. |
TJ Carpenter@TJCarpenterWHB2m
If you want to read between the lines, Ricky Stanzi is a dead man walking. #Chiefs |
Quote:
As for Bradford, I think we'd have taken him number one. I think everyone knows last year's class was special. I don't think any of the personnel were fooled this year and I don't think they even thought about last year's class when evaluation this year's QB crop. Maybe the talking heads did but, not the scouts, GMs, or coaches. |
http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2013/5...lbert-out-sick
Bray over Stanzi? The Chiefs haven't ever figured out what they have in Ricky Stanzi, whether it was the Scott Pioli regime or the John Dorsey-Andy Reid combo. Still it seems that no one is quite enamored enough to let him take the field. For this year's Chiefs, it looks like the undrafted Tyler Bray has a solid chance to make the depth chart. |
Stanzi must be running for his life back there.
