We have 4 tackles on our roster, consisting of 1 average tackle, 2 below average tackles, and 1 rookie FA. KC and Tampa had similar seasons last year and are both on the rise, but you can tell which franchise is willing to go the extra mile and which one is content with the status quo.

The Bucs have to spend something like $60M to get to the salary floor.

Not that we don't have a shit-ton to spend either, but...

I get your point. We have a lot of holes, and other teams are out there making things happen.

Is it frustrating? Sure.

We should be used to it by now. Pioli doesn't move quickly in FA. It is what it is.

Well, we know they haven't come to terms with anyone, because agents leak that info.

But other than that, you're right, we have no idea what's going on at 1 Arrowhead Drive.

Hurry up and wait time.

As expected Seahawks and Vikings deep in talks for Sidney Rice. Does he go to Seattle with his old coordinator or stay in MIN wit a new one?

When have they ever done anything in free agency? I'm not somebody who wants them to sign every new person who hits the market, but the Chiefs never sign anybody unless there is almost no competition for the player. We sign guys like Thomas Jones and Ryan Lilja who are good players and decent signings, but players who we didn't have much competition for. If either player had another team who was putting up much competition to sign them I doubt we would have signed them. The Chiefs have shown that they will not be competitive for other highly sought after free agents on the market.

If we take Pioli at face value earlier today, we don't.

I think we all experienced our own ballet today...a ballet of emotions and feelings.

Yeah, so? Look at how they're building the team and tell me this is some kind of big shock to you.
