Sadly there's been no smoke around the Chiefs from anyone of note, just people saying its a good fit.

The closest thing to smoke is Dez Bryant speculating that the Chiefs could end up with OBJ or DHop, or both. Dez Bryant works out with DHop so they are close.

With that caveat that Dez says a lot of shit that never happens because he's just guessing like everyone else.

RBs just aren't valued like they once were. Dude got beat out by a 7th round pick and you think teams are going to trade for him?

Even as a 'filler' it's just wishful thinking.

That said far as DHop for the right price I'd like to have him but I still think drafting a WR is the way to go. A TE shouldn't be overlooked as well.

I've yet to see a Burt Teach WR that was drafted turn into a probowler WR.

/ducks

He's drafted a total of 2 in the first 3 rounds, and one of them was just a rookie last year.

Some of you have some ridiculous expectations in regards to the draft.

To hurry up and seal the deal before the Draft.

It's one of our glaring needs and I don't want to spend draft capital on a MAYBE, I'd rather spend it on a sure fire thing.

So fix a glaring need, head into the draft with a plan. Go from there

Ah, yes, the "hurry up" motivation for spending. That's always a great plan.

I would argue that the Chiefs being one of twelve teams to attend OBJs workout, would constitute smoke...

Also Benjamin Albright seems to think the Chiefs are the team to watch for Hopkins. Also smoke...

I trust that Burnt Quiche ain't dumb enough to pay a bucket of cash to a sick note like OBJ.

Jarvis Landry with the Chargers, maybe? Only speculating due to the lightning emoji
