Yea, but we kicked their ass like we should've in their house. Then went on to lose to the Pats by 7 with a ton of injuries.

They won a tight game at home against a team that was falling apart and entering a transitional period. Then went on to get blown out by the Pats 45-10.

Big difference between the two.

Only on Chiefsplanet is beating Brian Hoyer in the playoffs more impressive than a win over future HOFer Ben Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger threw 21 TD's and 14 INT's in 2011. Their defense had fallen apart due to injuries and age.

That team lost to ****ing Tim Tebow. There wasn't much difference between that Steelers team and the Texans team we beat. At least the Texans were actually good on one side of the ball. Like I said, we blew them out like we should in their house. The Broncos won a tight one in Mike High. Give me a ****ing break.

That's a hell of a year right there/Alex

21/14? How many were hidden?

What's his PSU average?

I never said the Chiefs suck but the fantasy that John Elway hasn't been successful just isn't true.

He was successful bc he lucked into Manning the same way King Carl lucked into Montana.

Without Manning, Elway is 17-15 which is average.

If nothing else ASS has provided some great comedic material.

Roethlisberger in 2011:

21 TD's 14 INT's

Hoyer in 2015:

19 TD's 7 INT's

LMAO

Hoyer > Roethlisberger!

Chiefsplanet.

Yea, because that was my point! You love throwing out stats until the same kinda stats get thrown right back in your ****ing face.

Regular season stats are largely irrelevant in a playoff game.

Ask any GM, coach or defensive coordinator. They'd rather face Hoyer than Roethlisberger.

This isn't rocket science but homers just keep on truckin.'

Sadly. Those folks actually believe that hidden touchdowns and punter setups are actual stats that are measured and tracked.

You're changing the argument and ignoring the other context I provided.

Roethlisberger and the Steelers were still a defensive team with no defense. Their offense hadn't yet begun its ascension. Roethlisberger's stats back then and the years before that support this. Your Roethlisberger shit was revision history because that team ****ing sucked including him.

The Chiefs beat a team on the same level handily in their house, while the Broncos won a close one at home.

The Chiefs playoff win was easily more impressive. Shut the **** up already.

RunKC 07-23-2017 04:56 PM

Broncos have gotten so lucky in the playoffs. How many steeler defenders got hurt in that Tebow game? They lost a shit load of talent to injury that day.

Then in 2015 they play the Steelers again with no LeVeon bell, no AB, no DeAngelo Williams and Big Ben had a major injury to his throwing arm.

The Steelers had the number 1 defense in 2011....
