Not even the coaching of Bill Snyder can make up for the talent difference between KSU and TCU.

too bad

TCU is a very good team.

TCU pretty much has a guaranteed playoff spot. Maybe Texas gives them a challenge, but I think they match up well against them.

Absolutely, but when the big Bowls are played, a very important change takes place:

They let the defense play physical all the way down the field. This is why Big 12 teams get fisted against SEC opponents in their bowl matchups.

TCU will not get the benefit of soft secondary play when they go to the playoff. The officials simply will not call contact.

And to think, Patterson was in Manhattan, making plans to take the job after Snyder retired.

The reporter that broke that story needs to be ****ing lynched.

I'm not sure who they'll play, but they look like a complete team in my book. Great QB, big-play WRs, good O-line, great pass rush, and shut-down corners.

TCU has really flown under the radar until now.

Which would you prefer?

I'm all for the "Let them play" mentality, but there's a point where it is clearly inhibiting what a team wants to do.

That's how TCU plays defense. That's why Jake has had 8 seconds in the pocket and still not find an open receiver.

Texas can't hang.

The killer has been K-state's inability to run the ball. TCU's D-line is throwing K-state's O-line around like crash dummies.

Bingo.

Their running backs have sucked for over 5-6 years. Without a running QB, they have no running game.

Waters would be scary if he had a running game to support him.

A) How much longer do you guys think Snyder will coach?

B) Do you think he will let it be known when he is going into his final season, or do you think he will just announce it out of the blue following a season?

C) ...the guy still has it in him. (<----not a question)

MeatRock 11-08-2014 09:33 PM

This is getting embarrassing now.

I think he will coach for 2-3 more years.

Crazy.
