An average second receiver is something the Chiefs have lacked for a few seasons.

Sadly, Steve Breaston disappointed the team and the fans.

really, it is Jamaals' team. He carries it every season. This one won't be different, it's just Reid needs to make it so that he always gets the ball and actually gets some ****ing help.

It's Jamaal's team and this pistol offense is all about Jamaal's skills, so Alex and Bowe just need to help, and they will.

Even when cherry picked its not even close.

Breaston was pretty good his 1st season here.

No idea what happened to him last year.

He had 74 yards and sucked.

To argue that Avery isn't an upgrade is nonsensical.

Scott Pioli and Matt Cassel.

He's going to put up numbers in his next stop.

It's possible, but Avery isn't going to get as many looks with Alex Smith at QB, and almost 0 deep looks.

I'd bet anything he has less than 500 yards receiving since he isn't a possession receiver and is drop prone.

Since you're Nostradumbass now, would you like to tell us where he's going to sign?

I bet the Steelers grab him.

Avery was actually targeted 142 times.

All he needs is 75 yards to be an upgrade from Breaston.

If Avery's healthy and has only 500 yards, you're talking about a QB that's throwing for less than 2,000 yards all year.

You sure are making a lot bets this offseason. What's the over/under that you actually honor them?

Because of Haley? If so, why hasn't he signed yet? He's missed all of mini-camp and OTA's.

And with Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders, I find it highly unlikely that Breaston has more yards than Avery.

Are you ****ing insane. How is that not even close? Targets and catches are almost equal. The only discernible difference is Wallace had more long catches.

112 according to PFF.

People should know this though:

In 2011, the 49ers #2 receiver got only 26 targets.

In 2012, the 49ers #2 receiver got only 55 targets.

Avery's numbers are going way down.
