Why not just take the points? It's a 3 possession game and taking the FG makes it a 2 possession game and gives them a shot. It's over now.

Mahomes has to get the ball out as quick as possible. Some of that is on the coaches too. Scheme up plenty of shorter routes instead of the slow developing crap further downfield.
