Heres another angle.

Nice. You ever want to get some hand crafted custom art check out my boy Scott Takes in cedar rapids, Iowa. He works nationally. Can see him on Facebook. Not a plug, he doesn't need the business. But he's an artist...

Looking good.

what is the PITA (pain in the ass) factor on that job? I have grips, and internally wired bars / wire/cable extensions coming up this winter.

I can't remember; but was it you that went down a month or so ago? :hmmm:
maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

I've done grips before but was hesitant to do bars and levers this time. There was a clutch recall that I took in the parts to have them do that all too.

Yes I went down, the farring and left saddlebag still need attention but it's going to be brand new again.

Sorry about the bug, just thought these pics were too cool not to share.

Nice.

Lane splitting is safe, interesting. For the life of me I don't know why other states don't allow it.

Lane splitting is legal pretty much world wide, with the exception of 49 states... It is ridiculous that this isn't allowed. Part of the issue is when people hear lane splitting, they automatically think crotch rockets blasting by at 120+. That still will not be legal. Look up the rules in cali. Anything over 45 or something is still against the law, and you are only supposed to exceed the flow of traffic by 10-15 mph. In cities like Kansas City where we are spread out, and everyone drives, it could have a dramatic impact on traffic congestion. I for one, would only drive my car on rainy days, or when it starts getting too cold to ride. I would take full advantage of being able to move through traffic jams.

Absolutely. I always hate the dice driving the car who doesn't understand and thinks it's not fair that we should be able to split, and he moves his car to block you. Infuriating.

Do they really enforce it? I have always split lanes and never been pulled over for it when I have been in other states. The impact it has on traffic in big cities would be significant.

Heres my 2014 Harley Street Bob in Hard candy voodoo purple. It has the roland sands slant exhaust, roland sands turbine air cleaner. Replaced the console with all LED gauges, and just put on the 12" road 6 custom z bars. I think its coming along nicely. Not the best picture, its off my phone.

Good looking ride. Not a big fan of purple but it does look nice. Love those bars.
