Good for them. Neither their football program nor their basketball program received any top 25 votes last week, but their basketball team could this week. Not many schools can be ranked in both sports, but Texas has the potential to build up to that level in a few years if they make the right coaching hires.

Tons of schools are ranked in both sports year in and year out. Are you kidding?

Now winning championships and Final Fours in both are a completely different story.

Mack Brown won over 10 games 9 times while at Texas. That's incredibly difficult to do.

I agree it's probably time for him to go but it's insane to think UT Football hasn't seen tons of success under Mack Brown.

Funny thing...realignment has worked out great for Mizzou, aTm, and the SEC. It's been a disaster for the B1G and the Big 12.

The SEC improved athletically and academically.

The B1G worsened athletically and academically.

The Big 12 worsened athletically and academically.
