It amazes me that people still engage with PB. He literally shits in his hand and throws it against the wall, hoping that something will stick.

So maybe the naysayers weren't right about the Royals after all?

Link?

Denver isn't much bigger, 2.8 vs 2.1. Downtown park means nothing with a garbage team, Cleveland can't draw flies with a good team and downtown park.

Denver fans are just better. Let's admit it. They sellout everything even when their teams suck hairy balls

Denver fans are better? Denver Bronco fans maybe, nobody there gives a shit about the Nuggets or the Rockies. I don't know that I've ever even met a Rockies fan.

Lol. Wishful thinking.

Alex just got an average of 18 mil. over 4 seasons. (In what was considered to be a 'bargain') Alex is over 30 years old. He is not near the offensive player Hoz is.

Hoz will be 27 when he hits FA after 2017 season. He is a Gold Glover, an All-Star (this year) who is finally realizing his immense offensive potential, a World Champ who has shown the ability to be clutch in the post season and exhibits great leadership qualities.

Oh, and Scott Boras is his agent.

Hoz will get a MINIMUM $25 mil a year and probably end up somewhere in the $25-$30 mil a year range. The Yankees (more than likely) or some other big market team will open the bank for him.

Enjoy these last two years of Hoz. It will be his final ones in a Royals uniform.

That's how I see it. I was just reading a little while about Mark Texeira's injuries. I'll be shocked if Hosmer doesn't wind up wearing Yankee pinstripes.

If that happens, I probably won't cheer for him when he shows up in town as a Yankee, but I won't be rooting against him. If I were Eric Hosmer and the Yankees threw around $300 million at me, I'd take it.

Hard to tell with you.

A 500 mile radius around Denver and you don't reach another MLB team. A 500 mile radius around Kansas City and you get St. Louis, 2 Chicago teams, Milwaukee, Minnesota, and Texas.

Aside from that, within about 90 minutes of Denver you have Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Cheyenne, etc. The population along the front range is like 4-5 million people. It's a lot more than just Denver metro. But PB often plays really loose with numbers.

No. It is virtually impossible.

I won't cheer for him if he leaves. I wouldn't blame him for taking more money, but I certainly won't support him on another team. Right, wrong, or indifferent.

Hopefully we will have won back to back to back ships when Hosmer and them leave. I really don't care what the hell they do.

Another year, more outrage at the Royals stuffing the All Star ballot box. It has begun.

Two more World Series titles he brings us before that happens will make you feel different.
