That is best case scenario if we are the 2 seed. Avoid both Browns and Bills first round. Im not convinced Buffalo doesn't win out and take the East.

The Chiefs are gonna need Buffalo to beat the Dolphins in Week 18 to get the one seed.

If Miami wins that game, the Chiefs are probably the two seed.

Chiefs need the Niners to beat the Ravens tomorrow, the Dolphins to beat the Ravens next week, and the Bills to beat the Dolphins in week 18 for the one seed. All possible outcomes.

Also the Chiefs need to win out obviously.

That assumes they beat the Ravens in Baltimore next week, which I wouldn't bet on.

Yes. One less game is HUGE in the playoffs.

The Bills will go to Baltimore and beat the Ravens. I'm pretty confident about that
